In Februray of 2010, we stopped by Dr. Pobanz office at the recommendation of my dentist. Judy explained the different systems that are available and we chose to go with the SureSmile System in order to save time. I had the braces put on in April of 2010 with check visits about every two months. For me, the procedure was painless and even when the wires were changed; it only took a few hours to get feeling normal again.
In April of 2011 the last of the brackets came off, wow that was only on year! I had some fairly crooked, and crowded teeth and so I was surprised at the speed and relative comfort of the entire procedure. I have recommended Dr. John to many friends in the past and will continue to send friends and family to him in the future. Also, a big plug for the entire staff... all went beyond just helpful, and courteous. Every visit was a great time!! Thanks Dr. John!!

I had a wonderful experience with Pobanz orthodontics. The entire staff was fun, knowledgeable, and professional. I was hesitant to get braces as an adult, but Dr. Pobanz offered me a new kind of treatment - lingual braces. The brackets were placed on the inside of my teeth. This option was the perfect combination of discrete brackets, length of treatment, and affordability. The treatment with lingual braces was just as effective as traditional braces, and I continue to be pleased with the result. Dr. Pobanz and his staff create a fun and lively environment for the patients and their family. They constantly involve their patients in their care with activities, contests and options to win prizes. Dr. Pobanz gave me the gift of a beautiful smile. I was in my 50's and still longed to smile for a photo of when meeting someone new.
